Getting started with our services is simple! The first step is to schedule a free, 20-minute strategy session with me, Jamie Brooke.
During this call, we'll discuss your business, your goals, and your vision for your podcast. This allows us to understand your needs and determine if our services are the right fit for you. From there, we'll create a customized, step-by-step plan that works with your unique timeline, resources, and budget.
If you were to think of us with the analogy of a restaurant, it would be this: We believe in providing high-quality, professional-grade podcast production without the "Michelin Star" price tag. But think of our services less like a cheap fast-food chain (less cost, less quality) and more like a high-quality local restaurant. We're not about getting you in and out as quickly as possible; we take the time to know you and your project. We're the place that remembers your name and knows your "usual". We provide a level of service that is both expertly crafted and deeply personal.
We keep our pricing simple. While we can customize a solution for you, many of our clients start with one of our pre-set packages. This gives you a clear and straightforward path to launch and/or produce your podcast. If your project has unique needs, don't worry, we have a "secret menu" too (IYKYK)! We can easily create a bespoke proposal to ensure you get exactly the services you need. The good news is you don't have to know everything about your podcast before you reach out.
After your free 20-minute strategy call with me, Jamie Brooke, I will provide you with a personalized, fixed-cost proposal. This ensures that you get a plan that fits your specific goals and budget with no surprises.
Yes, we do offer transcription services for podcasts. Transcribing a podcast can be a time-consuming and tedious task, but it can also be incredibly valuable for a number of reasons. Transcriptions can make your podcast more accessible to those who are deaf or hard of hearing, they can improve the searchability of your podcast, and they can be repurposed into written content for your website or social media.
If you're interested in having your podcast transcribed, we would be happy to discuss the options and pricing with you. We offer 99.9% accuracy!
Yes, Brave Moon Podcasts offers podcast consulting services. While we provide free advice and guidance to all our clients as part of our production packages, we also offer dedicated strategy sessions for those who may not need full-service production.
If you are a prospective client who wants to get a sense of how we work or just need some high-level guidance, our free 20-minute strategy call is the perfect place to start. During this call, we can discuss your podcast idea, offer initial feedback, and determine if our services are a good fit.
For a more in-depth, one-on-one session, we can schedule a paid consulting call that is tailored to your specific needs. This is a great option for people who have an existing podcast and want to improve it, or for those who are just starting out and want a clear, actionable strategy.

The editing and post-production process is where we transform raw audio and video into a polished, professional final product. Here's a look at our process:
File Management and Organization: After you provide the raw audio and video files, we organize them and back them up securely.
Rough Cut: We begin by editing the main content, removing filler words, long pauses, and any verbal stumbles to create a clean, cohesive flow.
Audio Enhancement: We use professional software to mix and master the audio. This includes removing background noise, adjusting levels, and ensuring a consistent volume for a smooth listening experience.
Video Editing (if applicable): For video podcasts, we cut between camera angles, add on-screen graphics (like guest names or titles), and color-correct the footage for a professional look.
Final Polish: We integrate your intro/outro music, sound effects, and host-read ads to complete the episode.
Review and Approval: We deliver the final episode to you for review, making any final adjustments you request before publishing.
Absolutely! Creating well-structured show notes is a crucial part of our process. It's how we help you turn a great conversation into a powerful marketing tool.
In fact, we recently worked with a client strictly on his show notes - and saw an 81% increase in plays in just 3 months!
Our team writes comprehensive show notes for every episode we produce, and we structure them to achieve three key goals:
SEO (Search Engine Optimization): We write with discoverability in mind. We'll start with a compelling, keyword-rich title and include a summary that is optimized to appear in search results. This helps new listeners find your podcast when they search for topics you've covered.
Listener Experience: We make it easy for your audience to engage with your content. Our show notes include scannable bullet points of key takeaways and a timestamped outline, so listeners can easily navigate to the most relevant parts of the episode.
Call-to-Action and Monetization: We use show notes to guide your audience. This includes linking to any resources, books, or guest websites mentioned in the episode. We also incorporate a clear call-to-action that encourages listeners to take the next step, whether that's subscribing to your newsletter, leaving a review, or checking out an affiliate link.
Yes, we occasionally offer discounts and special offers on our podcasting services. Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter for the latest deals.
We stand out from other podcast production companies by offering a truly personalized, all-in-one partnership rather than a one-size-fits-all service.
While many companies operate on an a-la-carte or assembly-line model, we are committed to being your dedicated collaborator from start to finish. We even have specialized experience in the health, fitness, and wellness space.
Here are the core elements that define our unique approach:
Personalized Partnership with Jamie Brooke: As the founder, I am your single point of contact throughout the entire process. I am personally invested in your success and provide hands-on support, getting to know you and your project to ensure it authentically reflects your vision.
Comprehensive, All-in-One Service: You won't need to hire multiple freelancers. We handle everything from the initial strategy and development to professional editing, distribution, and even creating a full content library from your episodes.
100% Creator Ownership: We believe you should fully own your creation. Unlike some companies that take a percentage of your royalties or intellectual property, you retain complete ownership of your podcast and all the revenue it generates.
Our standard turnaround time is 7 business days from the time we receive your raw files. This allows us to dedicate the necessary time to edit, mix, and master your episode for the highest quality.
We also understand that sometimes you need content faster. For an additional expedited fee, we can deliver a finished episode in as little as 24-hours from the time of submission.
Jamie Brooke is the Founder and Lead Podcast Producer at Brave Moon Podcasts. She's the primary point of contact for all clients and is deeply involved in the entire production process. While she is supported by a small, dynamic team of editors, writers, and marketers, all content and services are run through her. You will work directly with Jamie throughout your collaboration to ensure your podcast authentically reflects your vision.
There are many strategies for getting more listeners to discover your podcast. The most effective approach is to consistently turn your audio episodes into a full content library that expands your reach beyond traditional podcast directories.
Here are three key ways to grow your audience:
Optimize Your Podcast for Search: Show notes are one of the most powerful tools for discoverability. By creating keyword-rich, detailed show notes, you give your episodes a chance to appear in Google and other search results when people are looking for topics you've covered. Our team handles this SEO-friendly writing as part of our post-production service.
Repurpose Content for Social Media: Most new listeners discover podcasts through social media. We help you take your long-form episodes and turn them into engaging, shareable content. This includes short video clips, audiograms (waveforms), and quote cards that you can share on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok to attract new listeners.
Strategic Guesting and Networking: Appearing as a guest on other podcasts is one of the fastest ways to introduce your show to a new, relevant audience. We also encourage our clients to build relationships with other podcasters in their niche to explore cross-promotion opportunities.
Our standard turnaround time for a finished podcast episode is 7 business days from the time we receive your raw files. This allows us to dedicate the necessary time to professional audio and video editing, mixing, and mastering to ensure the highest quality.

The frequency of your podcast episodes depends on your goals and resources. However, consistency is key.
Listening apps like Spotify has confirmed they favor podcasts that release new episodes within 15 days of each other. Aim for a regular schedule, such as weekly or bi-weekly, to keep your audience engaged.
The ideal length of a podcast episode varies depending on your topic and audience. However, most listeners prefer episodes between 25 to 60 minutes. This is because the top 3 activities people are doing while they listen to podcasts is exercising, commuting and doing chores - all of which take an average of 25 to 60 minutes.
A good rule of thumb: shorter episodes are great for quick tips and insights, while longer episodes allow for in-depth discussions and interviews.
The main difference between an audio podcast and a video podcast is the added visual element. An audio podcast focuses entirely on sound and is designed for listening on the go—during a commute, workout, or while multitasking. The production is simpler, requiring only a good microphone and a quiet space.
A video podcast includes both audio and video, providing a richer, more engaging experience for viewers. While it has a higher production cost and requires more equipment like cameras and lighting, it also offers greater discoverability and monetization opportunities, particularly on platforms like YouTube. Many podcasters leverage both formats to maximize their reach.
We ensure the highest quality for your podcast through a professional, multi-step process that focuses on both technical and creative excellence. First, we provide guidance on selecting the right equipment and setting up your recording environment to capture the best possible raw files.
Then, during post-production, our team uses industry-standard software to polish every episode. This includes removing background noise, smoothing out verbal stumbles, and mastering the audio to ensure consistent volume levels and a crisp, clear sound. For video podcasts, we also handle video editing and color correction.
Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent. For our ongoing production packages, we require a 30-day notice to cancel. Your services will continue until the end of that notice period, at which point your contract will not be renewed.
For our one-time launch and consulting services, a custom agreement will be provided that clearly outlines the project scope and cancellation terms.
We help you develop a strong podcast brand from the ground up. This includes a brainstorming session where we work together to find a compelling name that's both available and memorable. We also help you create professional artwork and branding that visually represents your show and stands out in a crowded podcast market.
We believe a great interview starts with thorough preparation. We can help you with pre-interview prep, which includes researching your guests, developing insightful interview questions, and handling the communication and scheduling to ensure the guest is prepared and ready to go.
We don't typically join you for the remote recording (we find that our presence can sometimes be distracting for you and your guest). However, please let us know if you prefer this and we can add this to your bespoke package!
Absolutely. We specialize in helping podcasters make the seamless transition from an audio-only show to a video podcast. We provide guidance on selecting the right video equipment for your budget, and our team handles all the professional video editing, including color correction, graphics, and video mastering to ensure your new show looks as professional as it sounds.
We can even go back and convert your existing audio podcasts into a video podcast (with artwork in place of the video) and get you started on YouTube! This is a bespoke package we can discuss.
